very
Warhammer tabletop could use a few more boulders
or rock clusters for troops to hide behind. Creating
rocky scenery has to be the simplest thing you can build
when it comes to terrain. Below is one example of how
to make some rocky terrain. |
| Cut a
few rectangles or squares from insulation
foam to various sizes. |
| Oh-so carefully
(watch the fingers!), carve down a rectangle
of foam with a box cutter. |
| With a
bit of time and effort, you'll have a
nice pile of shaped foam rock spires. |
| Arrange the rocks
on an MDF hardboard base and affix them
with wood glue. |
| Find a few real
rocks from the street or garden and add
them to the base with glue. |
| Thin-down wood
glue and spread it over the base. Sprinkle
some sand over the glue. |
Behold: the finished rock cluster after a quick paint
job. Add static grass to the piece as needed.
